Access Training Course
Members of the public, service users
and professionals are invited to attend access training courses
at the Cornerstone in Lancaster on Friday's commencing 29th May
until 19th June from 10.30 until 12.00 noon.
The
objective of the course is to raise awareness around
accessibility to services in the district. Rob Bracewell,
Access Officer in the Forward Planning Team at the Planning
Department at Lancaster City Council, is presenting the
programme over 3 sessions which cover:-
1.
An Introduction to the Planning Service - who does what and
where to find them.
2. Using your 'voice' properly; exploring which applications to
target; where to find them
3. Looking at plans; how to read them and understand what is
being said in a set of plans
4. Report writing; an introduction to how to write in order to
get your point across.

Friday 29th
May : Access Issues (completed)
Friday 5th June : On-line Planning Applications part 1
Friday 19th June : On-line Planning Applications part 2
There
will be a break and a space at the end for questions.
